Installation We execute the design to exacting standards, installing all infrastructure, fixtures, outlets, and equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner utilizing the following resources: • Our skilled, licensed electricians and technical service personnel are capable of all types of work including high-value residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional. We meld the best equipment and methods to produce the most reliable installation possible. • Comptec provides our installers with a complete inventory of quality tools and equipment that are maintained on a regular basis. • Worker and job site safety is a primary concern. We have a weekly safety meeting at each job site, and provide our workers with the proper personal protection equipment and instruction on how to use it. Our workers have an excellent job-site safety record. • Comptec personnel are trained to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times. • We install all equipment and materials in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure proper operation and reliability. • We have developed a wide network of suppliers and manufacturers who can provide custom equipment designed and built for unique situations. Examples include custom service panels, wireways, fixture hangers and outlets, and equipment racks. • In an effort to assist our clients, we have developed an extensive network of highly skilled artisans, craftsmen, and specialized trades that are available as resources on your project should the need arise. • Comptec is a licensed electrical contractor in Chicago (Illinois), North Carolina, Florida, and Munster (Indiana). We also hold a Security Alarm Installer license in the State of Illinois. Project Close-Out and Service Closing out the project and furnishing the necessary documentation includes: • Removing all equipment, materials, tools, and debris from the job site. • Providing as-built drawings, fixtures specification sheets, panel schedules, equipment specification sheets, and low-voltage wiring schedules. • Providing all final billings, contract documents, and waivers of lien. • Assembling two copies of equipment manuals: one to be delivered to the client and one to remain with Comptec for reference. • Final operational testing of all equipment and programming, including lighting levels, sound quality, and video calibration. • A copy of the programming code and documentation will be left with the client at the end of the project. (Many integrators do not release their programming documentation leaving their client vulnerable if the client desires changes or has processor failure, and the integrator is not available for service.) • Listing contact phone numbers and email addresses along with the service call procedures and associated current cost.
